Freight Elevator
Product Description
Hydraulic goods platforms manufactured by Albay Lift Asansör have successfully passed testing and received approval from TSE, MMO, and IQNORM. Platforms that successfully pass periodic maintenance checks and tests can continue to provide service for many years.
These lifts are designed for transporting goods. Comfort and speed are not primary considerations as they are with passenger lifts. This type of goods lift is typically used to transport materials or pallets between the floors of a building.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, they can be used in buildings, warehouses, factories, shopping centres, and anywhere frequent goods handling is required.
They provide efficient, convenient, and safe access to mezzanines, basement floors, or any level of a multi-storey building. Goods lifts can be designed with load capacities ranging from 100 kg to more than 15,000 kg. They are manufactured in single-column, double-column, and four-column configurations and are built to operate under demanding conditions.
As with passenger lifts, optional features are available for goods lifts. Whatever the travel distance, our goods lift solutions provide smooth operation and significant savings in operating costs.
Depending on your requirements, door options include swing doors, semi-automatic doors, double-leaf doors, automatic doors, and mesh doors, all configured to provide the required clear opening width and height.
Hydraulic Cylinder and Chain
Lifting is achieved by an electrically driven pump that delivers hydraulic fluid to a lifting actuator acting directly or indirectly on the lift car. Downward movement takes place under the car’s own weight.
The motor is generally located at the lowest landing level. The installation includes an oil reservoir, a hydraulic power unit mounted above it, a control panel, and hoses through which the hydraulic fluid flows.
Hydraulic lifts operate on the principle of an electrically driven pump forcing oil into the system, causing the pistons to raise the platform. The pumped oil passes through the hydraulic control unit under controlled conditions and flows through a pipe to actuate the cylinder.
The cylinder is connected to the platform either directly or indirectly. In response to a control command, the cylinder raises the platform to the required floor.
For protection against falling, our goods platforms use a high-precision, wear-resistant hydraulic cylinder with a locking mechanism, a cylinder diameter of Ø100 mm, and a piston rod diameter of Ø70 mm.
The 12B chain used in the system features a smooth surface, a compact structure, compatibility with standard sprockets, high load capacity, and high tensile strength. It is also easy to clean and maintain.
Limit Switch (Travel Limit Switch)
Limit switches are among the key components of a goods platform. The model used is the L5K13MEP-123, an IP65-rated, bidirectional limit switch with a plastic roller.
It converts mechanical displacement into an electrical signal, allowing the lift’s travel height to be limited with high precision.
Safety
Pressure relief valve: Prevents excessive hydraulic pressure while the platform is being raised.
Manual emergency lowering valve: Allows the platform to be lowered to the nearest lower landing in an emergency, such as a power failure or an earthquake.
Hose rupture valve: Shuts off the oil flow if a hydraulic hose ruptures, preventing the loaded platform from falling.
Low Operating Costs
The advanced hydraulic system and control method provide safe operation and a low failure rate.
The platform descends under its own weight, reducing power consumption and saving energy.
